The guitar is a very popular instrument. You can see guitars everywhere, and you rarely see a band without a guitarist. It is not hard to learn how to play a guitar, which is why a lot of teenagers love to play it. The oud, also known as the lute, is very popular in Middle Eastern countries. There are some westerners though who know how to play this instrument. I have heard its sound, and it hypnotized me immediately. I know how to play the guitar and I am sure that it is harder to play the oud. Nevertheless, I ordered one and I am very excited to start playing it.
