I am retired, and I love to travel all over the world and experience new things. Last month I decided that I would travel to somewhere new, and I wasn’t quite sure what I would need to be able to get around. I did some research at the library about Egyptian culture and I was amazed at some of the information I found. The only reason I was reading about their customs was because I found a special on Egypt holiday packages. I wanted to learn about the culture before I actually make a reservation. The first thing that took me by surprise was the fact that many women would be married by the time they reached the age of twelve. I did not know what to think of that. That is something I felt I would be judgmental about. But I did put it out of my mind.
