Sunday, February 21st, 2010

I am retired, and I love to travel all over the world and experience new things. Last month I decided that I would travel to somewhere new, and I wasn’t quite sure what I would need to be able to get around. I decided to go online and look for a car rental south africa, and I found one that was very helpful and had great rates. I was able to get the kind of car I wanted, and the staff was very knowledgeable about the area that I would be traveling in. It was nice to have such great service from a car rental company.

One Memorable Family Vacation

Friday, February 19th, 2010

My family just got back from a 2 week vacation on the beautiful Island if Kauai. We were a bit hesitant to take the family on such an extravagant vacation. I am so glad we did not give into our fears. This was vacation was better than we could have imagined. We spent the days hanging on the beach, playing in the water and walking along the coast. Our children loved looking at the huge Kauai Hotels along the shore. We even spent a bit of time exploring the volcanoes and waterfalls in the area. I hope we can afford to do something like this again.

Surprise Trip

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

One of my students and his parents are going to surprise their grandparents by taking another trip to Columbia this year.  They usually go there once a year since they have family there.  This time they will be taking a trip with the intent to purchase a home there.  They have heard that the laws have been improved for foreign buyers.  The purchase is protected and security has increased.  They have already place a call to medellin real estate and they have been in touch.  They have been looking at potential properties and the realtor already has a pretty good idea on what they like.

An Interesting Fact About Egyptian Woman

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

I did some research at the library about Egyptian culture and I was amazed at some of the information I found. The only reason I was reading about their customs was because I found a special on Egypt holiday packages. I wanted to learn about the culture before I actually make a reservation. The first thing that took me by surprise was the fact that many women would be married by the time they reached the age of twelve. I did not know what to think of that. That is something I felt I would be judgmental about. But I did put it out of my mind.

Saving Money with Travel Insurance

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

About a year ago, my brother and his pregnant wife traveled to Paris for their wedding anniversary.  Applying for travel insurance never really occurred to them until it hit them hard on their vacation. It was actually their second time visiting Paris so they were not new to the city. They went to a restaurant recommended to them by their Parisian friends. My sister-in-law had the moules frites, typical French Bistro food which seemed harmless at the time. About an hour later, she felt nauseous, then had terrible stomach cramping and vomiting. It was food poisoning. She was losing an alarming amount of fluids, and weakened to the point where my brother had to carry her to the hospital. It was a terrifying experience, a pregnant wife who was sick in a foreign hospital in a foreign country. My brother wanted the first flight back to the U.S. and get his wife treated back home, but the French doctor advised him otherwise. If he had only known about the Medical Evacuation and Repatriation insurance and other travel insurance tips, he could have saved money and had some peace of mind.

The Greatest Gift That I Ever Gave

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

I have always wanted to o something special for my parents because they have always been there for me through thick and thin.  I wanted to give them a trip that they would really enjoy and I decided to get some information about tropical islands.  They have never been out of this country and I think that they would enjoy an island vacation.  They both cried when I gave this gift to them.  I told them that I wanted to do this for them because they mean so much to me and I want to make them happy.  I am happy to do this for them.

My family had decided to take a trip to the UK this summer, but we are all a little nervous about negotiating around the streets and roads using the opposite side of the road than we are used to. An accident would totally ruin our vacation. Dad has been looking into Coach Travel packages that seem to be pretty convenient and affordable. We would not have to worry about getting from the airport to our destination or sight seeing later. It sounds like an ideal solution for a family like us who has never visited this part of the world before. I think Dad will be greatly relieved.

This Sites Saves Us Money on Travel Expenses

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

I was surfing the net and saw a wonderful web site. The site offered great information about world travel, and how to save money. I have wanted to do some traveling for some time, so I was glad to see this wealth of information. The low price airline ticket that was being offered was an incredible value from that airline. I told my wife that we should consider it. It would be nice to save that kind of money. She agreed and we are going to be traveling very soon. I am so excited to be able to go and see the rest of the country.
