I had no idea that texting in the cinema is completely forbidden until I got thrown out of a film screening today. I was trying to see how to text quietly so that I wouldn’t disturb anybody but this obviously didn’t work. One of the stewards asked me to leave and then explained it was because my phone could be recording the movie whilst it is on and this is illegal. I explained that my phone barely makes calls let alone has the function to record videos but they were having none of it and I was banished much to the fury of my girlfriend, lesson learnt, texting can wait!
