I have been a nurse for several years, and I knew that I wanted to experience something different in my career. I had been in contact with some nurses who had gone into the legal field, and I decided that I wanted to become a nurse paralegal. It would combine two interesting skill sets, and it sounded very appealing. It was interesting to learn how to apply my clinical skills in new ways, and after I was done with the training I was hired by an attorney who specialized in medical malpractice cases. I am learning something new every day, and I’m still helping patients with their needs.
